Shipping, Returns & Refunds
Last updated: 5 June 2026
This policy explains how we deliver your artwork, your rights to cancel and return, and how refunds work. It sits alongside our Terms of Sale. For a friendlier overview of rates and timelines, see our Shipping page.

4. Your 7-day cooling-off right (ECTA §44)
Because you buy online, you have a right under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (ECTA) to cancel the transaction within 7 days after delivery, without reason and without penalty.
To exercise this right:
- Email bot@botandbotty.com within 7 days of delivery to tell us you are cancelling.
- Return the artwork in its original, undamaged condition and packaging.
- Unless the item was faulty or not as described, the cost of returning the item is yours.
- We will refund the price you paid for the artwork once we receive it back in its original condition. (The standard ECTA carve-outs apply — for example, the cooling-off right does not apply to goods made or clearly personalised to your specification.)
5. Damaged in transit or faulty
We want every piece to arrive perfectly. If your artwork arrives damaged or is faulty, please tell us within 7 days of delivery and send photos of the item and its packaging to bot@botandbotty.com.
In line with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA), you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for goods that are defective or not as described. We will arrange the return at our cost in these cases.
6. How to start a return
Email bot@botandbotty.comwith your order number and the reason for the return. We’ll confirm the return address and next steps. Please do not send anything back before we’ve confirmed, so we can make sure the piece is protected in transit.
7. Refunds — method & timing
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method via PayFast. Once we have received and inspected a returned piece (or confirmed a cancellation), we aim to process the refund within a reasonable period — typically a few working days — after which your bank or card provider’s own timelines apply.
